About Jabrina Speaks
Jabrina Thompson is an Educator, Mentor, Visionary and Friend. As a Broward County, Fl. native she reminds herself daily “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me” Philippians 4:13. Graduating from Hollywood Hills High School class of 2001 she continued her education at the University of Phoenix majoring in Education.
While working at the YMCA of South Florida since 2000 and Broward County Public Schools since 2002, Jabrina grew a passion for empowering, inspiring and mentoring our youth. Observing “a silent cry” because of unspoken conversations among our young people, her passion grew and she birthed one of her first visions: a nonprofit 501c3 mentoring program for girls ages 8 to 18 years old. She titled it R.O.Y.A.L.T.Y. Inc. Mentoring Program—an acronym for Recognizing Our Youth’s Ability to Lead Throughout Their Years.
After years of mentoring and guiding youth, Jabrina began to connect and inspire adults as well. She challenges them to break the cycle of fear and discover their full potential. Through speaking engagements, creating events, hosting as a Mistress of Ceremonies and helping individuals birth their visions, she combined her passions and birthed “Jabrina Speaks”. Come grow and learn from Jabrina Thompson, now known as Jabrina Speaks, as she continues to connect and inspire men, women and the next generation.
